6 New WhatsApp Sticker Packs May 2021: How to Download

WhatsApp continues to include new stickers in the application. The company recently changed the way it offers the packs, where we now have the option of both adding the official packs from the official store and through a link, which also makes it easier to share them. Now, they have added six new packs at once .

These six new packs have been available for a few hours in the official WhatsApp store . To download them we just have to go to the stickers section in a chat, swipe to the right completely, and click on the “+” icon. There we see two sections, where in ” All stickers ” we can add the new official packages.

The 6 new WhatsApp sticker packs

As we can see, the stickers continue to have that peculiar design with a slight Asian touch, and far removed from the quality and detail offered by other apps such as Telegram, although luckily it is possible to have Telegram stickers on WhatsApp. However, surely more than one of them will find them useful for their conversations. The six packs are as follows:

  • Egg and Chup : Egg and Chup are two friends living their daily life
  • Realistic Rabbit : a rabbit in human form lives comical situations
  • Betakkuma 2: the dancing bear returns with a new pack
  • Square Cheese’s Daily Life : a square-shaped cheese that just wants to live its life
  • Woman Cactus : a cactus-shaped woman, charming despite her thorns
  • A Burdensome Pigeon Named Eagle : Eagle is an enthusiastic pigeon, but a little bit intense.

The packs have been launched through the server by WhatsApp, so it should not be necessary to update the application to see them and be able to add them. In the event that you do not see them, you can try updating to see if this is solved. If you don’t like them, we remember that you can always create custom sticker packs in WhatsApp.

Other functions that will come to WhatsApp

This weekend we also learned that WhatsApp is working on a new function that will allow us to review a voice message before sending it. Thanks to this, you can easily listen to it before sending it to see if it sounds good, and decide whether or not to delete it to record another. The app seems willing to enhance the audios, as we saw a few days ago where they have included the option to accelerate them so as not to have to listen to them at normal speed and make them more boring than they already are.

Another function that will come later will be to be able to migrate the complete chat history between iOS and Android , and vice versa. The method they are going to use for this is still unknown, but most likely the function will come through an implementation with Google Drive to move them from iOS to Android. In the case of doing it in reverse, it is most likely that there is a function to export the complete chat history.
