Just a few days ago we learned that Christina Ricci will once again be part of the Adams Family universe thanks to a Netflix series called Wednesday in which she will once again play the character that made her famous. The long-awaited series directed by Tim Burton has reminded us of some legendary characters that we would also have liked to have had their own movie or, failing that, their own television series. Gollum
Without a doubt, it is the one that first comes to mind for many of us, and that is that although Smeagol has appeared in numerous installments of Tolkien’s universe, the reality is that he has not had a film as such focused on his many centuries of life. decrepit and dark, although the books can shed more light.

Jar Jar Binks
A controversial character, hateful for some but an absolute geek icon for others. His appearance in the second trilogy (in order of release) irritated many, who saw him as a grotesque and ridiculous character, with his constant jokes of questionable humor and unjustified histrionics, even for certain more serious moments of the plot.
Two decades (23 years) have passed since its premiere, there is no doubt that a film based on him would have a certain curiosity, as long as they adapted his character to the new times, with a different humor and perhaps a somewhat deeper personality. That which is so popular today in fictional stories of rewriting what is considered canon.
Doctor Emmett Brown
If there is a character that should have had his own movie, it should have been Doctor Emmet Brown from Back to the Future . We know a lot about him, in fact in the third installment his love story gains prominence, which after all takes place in an alternative timeline, like the Marvel Multiverse (haha).
But we do not know anything about his life before that year 1985 (a little bit of 1955), what happened to the doctor before the events of Twin Pines, what his youth was like in those post-war years and other unknowns that, it seems, they will be lost forever. Without a doubt, he could have given a lot of play to the character of Christopher Lloyd. No?
Severus Snape
This character is one of the darkest and most mysterious in the Harry Potter saga. And for that alone he deserved a movie, and even a series. He is a perfect personality to delve into his past and everything that unites him with the Hogwarts universe . The reality is that there is a movie made by the fans of the saga called Severus Snape and the Marauders .
Set in 1978, just after he graduated from Hogwarts , it’s about a moment in his life that surely could make for a (serious) movie about the most decisive aspects that shaped him. Unfortunately he could no longer play Alan Rickman , but surely another actor could inherit all the magic of him.
Ivan Drago
Those of us who grew up with Rocky on theater billboards were shocked by Ivan Drago and the great rivalry he had with Stallone’s character. Times when the Soviets were always the villains in the movies, something that is sadly very topical again.
The reality is that the character played by Dolph Lundgren earned a place in film history for his aggressive personality, which reached its peak with the death of Apollo Creed, a fact that undoubtedly marked an entire generation. We saw him in Creed II , and who knows if it could be the prelude to some production focused on the history of his character, a “bad guy” who could have a more friendly evolution, as has happened to John Lawrence himself from Cobra Kai .
