We can find a large number of different monitors on the market, depending on the use that we are going to give it. LG Electronics has just presented an interesting gaming monitor which includes artificial intelligence. This curious LG UltrFine 32UQ890 monitor includes an intelligent camera that will follow our eye movement, to improve ergonomics.
To date we have seen, mainly, in gaming monitors that resolution and refresh rate are taken into account, among other parameters. But, the position of the user or the eye movement is not usually taken into account in the game to better adapt to the user. This LG solution looks very interesting and opens up a new field.
The new LG UltrFine 32UQ890 monitor
This monitor has the particularity of being designed to adapt at all times to the user’s needs. They have included a camera and artificial intelligence to better fit the player’s requirements. And it is that we do not all have the same position on the screen, so sometimes we do not get the best experience.
LG indicates that this monitor intelligently adapts to the position of the player . Ergonomics and user comfort are improved at all times. One of the great peculiarities is that the arm is completely ergonomic.
This monitor integrates a camera at the top of the panel, which integrates LG’s own AI that constantly analyzes the user’s posture. This allows you to make subtle adjustments to the screen to suit the user. It allows to adjust the height between 0-160 mm or the inclination between -20º and +20º. This prevents us from being in the same position for a long time or maintaining an incorrect posture over time.
This LG UltrFine 32UQ890 monitor has three different intelligent ergonomic adjustment modes. AI Motion is the best, as it detects the height of the eyes to get the best possible height and tilt adjustment. Also, we have Continuous Motion and Periodic Motion modes.
What features does this monitor have?
Well, let’s see what are the main features of this panel designed to play. The first thing we should know is that we have a 31.5-inch screen that is of the IPS type. This monitor has 4K resolution and 95% DCI-P3 color coverage.
Not only this, this LG monitor offers us a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a response time of 5ms GtG. In addition, it stands out that it is HDR10 certified, to offer the best possible image quality.
Regarding connectivity, this monitor has an HDMI and a DisplayPort 1.4 . Additionally it has two USB 3.0 downstream and one USB 3.0 upstream. It also includes two 5W speakers, to offer the user the best possible experience. It even has a remote control to control and manage this monitor.
Note that this LG UltrFine 32UQ890 monitor will be presented during IFA 2022, which is held in Berlin. We do not yet know the release date and price of this product, but it should not be especially cheap.
