In the case of the document and spreadsheet editor, we may not miss any function, but with the presentation alternative, we may miss some PowerPoint options.
If you use Linux, it is probably the best Office alternative out there. And in Windows it is the best free alternative that we can find if you cannot pay Office. It has a good interface, receives updates, and supports Microsoft Office formats, making it without a doubt the best we can install to work offline. It is also quite light, where the executable that we downloaded to install the complete suite occupies just 300 MB.

Office Online
If you are looking for an online, free and “original” option, it is good to remember that you can use Office Online. This suite is offered by Microsoft itself to compete with the online options offered by Google, and works directly from the browser itself. It is important not to confuse Office Online with Office 365, which is paid.
